Lentils with rice

                                                                Lentils
Ingredients
Lentil                                          1/2 cup
{Bengal gram, split
{Green color lentil                    all 3 should be half cup
{Red gram split
Red chili ground                           1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder                           1/12 teaspoon
Tomato                                           2 medium
Green Chili                                     2
Garlic                                              4 pieces
Garam masala                                 1/16 teaspoon
Chat masala                                     1/16 teaspoon
Bay leaves                                        2 leaves
Cumin seeds                                     few seeds
Oil                                                   4 table spoon

Wash all the lentils and soak in fresh water for half an hour

Put those in pressure cooker with salt, 1/4 red chili, chat masala , garam masala with 4  cups of water
  Cook for 10 minutes till all the lentils mix together
                                                                                                                                       


In pan fry the garlic pieces in warm oil
Add bay leaves, cumin seeds after the garlic is golden

Add tomato and green chilli paste
Note...
Because of warm oil there will be a splash so be very careful while adding this paste
Cook till it leaves oil

Now add the tomato mixture in lentils and cook for 5 minutes


Rice
Ingredients
Rice                          2cups
Salt                          2 teaspoon          
Cloves                             4 pieces
Cinnamon                   1 piece
Black Cardamoms               2 pieces
Black pepper                         6 pieces
Cumin seeds              a few         
Onions                         1 small
oil                         2 table spoon

Wash the rice and soak in fresh water

Put those in rice cooker with 3 cups of water
Wait till it cooks
In pan  put cloves,black cardamoms,cinnamon,cumin seeds and 1 minute later the onions and fry till the onions are golden
Serve the rice in dish


Put the onions on them and mix well
Enjoy these with chutni,salad and achar
